Talent Review Process
On a regular basis, senior leaders review the talent pool to assure that employees are properly placed and working in areas that recognize their strengths. The talent review process helps open lines of communication so that career progress becomes a natural part of the ongoing coaching and development process.
Learning & Development
During orientation, new employees learn more about our rich history, benefits, working at American Century Investments and our culture.
Eligible employees regularly scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week may receive up to $5,250 reimbursement per calendar year. Eligible employees regularly scheduled to work fewer than 20 hours per week may receive up to $2,625 in reimbursement.
You may receive tuition and textbook reimbursement for classes taken through an accredited institution, that begin after your date of hire. You will receive 100% reimbursement for courses and degree programs related to your current or future position at American Century Investments. Courses and degree programs not related to your current or future position will be reimbursed at 75%. American Century Investments also reimburses for the following certifications: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and Certified Investment Analyst (CIMA) as well as other certifications pre-approved by your department manager.
Guiding Principle Awards
To celebrate the achievements of our people, we have an extensive year-long company-wide recognition program. Every employee has an opportunity to be involved because anyone can nominate another employee or team for a Guiding Principle award throughout the year. Departments recognize their top performers at annual department events. All team and department winners are then forwarded to our Circle of Honor for consideration of the company's highest honors at our annual Recognition Celebration.
