David Hollond is a chief investment officer, senior vice president and senior portfolio manager for American Century Investments®, a premier investment manager headquartered in Kansas City, Mo.
Mr. Hollond is responsible for portfolio management for the firm's U.S. Growth Equity mid and small cap strategies. He also serves as a member of the Investment Oversight Committee, Products & Markets Committee and the Investment Management Senior Leadership Team.
Mr. Hollond joined American Century Investments in 1998. Prior to that, he was a research associate for the Federal Reserve Bank in Minneapolis. He has worked in the financial industry since 1992.
Mr. Hollond earned a bachelor's of arts degree in Russian and economics from Grinnell College, a master's of science degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin, a master's of arts degree in international studies from the University of Pennsylvania and a master's degree in business administration in finance from The Wharton School-University of Pennsylvania.
