Grant, Revoke, or Refuse Account Access

The Grant Account Access feature allows you to grant another individual access to your account for the purposes of viewing the holdings in your account or transacting (investments, exchanges or redemptions) on your behalf.

This feature is useful if you are responsible for multiple accounts registered under different tax identification numbers (e.g. spouse, child, etc.) and you would like to access and transact on these accounts after you Log In with your User Name and Password.

In addition to granting account access, you may also revoke account access and refuse account access.

What You Need to Know

Can I grant access to someone who has not registered?

No. The person to whom you grant access must be a registered user of americancentury.com.

If I grant access to another individual, can they then grant access to my account to someone else?

No. The person to whom you grant access can accept or refuse the access you have given them, but they cannot grant access to your accounts to another individual.

I have registered for online access to my accounts, but would like to view and transact on my children's accounts, for which I am custodian. Can I grant myself access to their accounts without registering their accounts first?

No. You first need to go through the New User Registration for each child. After your children are registered, you will need to Log In with the User Name and Password of the child's account and complete the Grant Account Access process.

Can I revoke access from those I previously granted access?

Yes. You may, at any time, revoke access from anyone to whom you have granted account access.
