KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 22, 2013 - American Century Investments®, a leading asset management firm, announced the addition of Radu Gabudean to the portfolio management team responsible for the firm's multiple asset allocation strategies. Effective March 19, Gabudean, became a co-portfolio manager on the Strategic Allocations Funds, LIVESTRONG® Portfolios, One Choice Portfolios®, Global Allocation and the investments in the Kansas Learning Quest 529 Education Savings Program. Four other portfolio managers also serve on the asset allocation team.

Gabudean joined American Century from Barclays Capital, where as vice president of quantitative strategies, he designed and implemented strategic and tactical asset allocation solutions for clients. Previously, he was a quantitative portfolio modeler at Lehman Brothers/Barclays Capital, where he developed and tested correlation and volatility models. A graduate of New York University's Stern School of Business, Gabudean earned a Ph.D. in Finance. He also holds a bachelor's degree in economics from York University in Toronto, Ontario.
