American Century Investments® offers a broad array of mutual funds spanning a wide variety of investment styles that are conveniently organized into four categories. Select a category to learn more about the investment styles:

Stock Funds

Value Funds
Our value funds seek long-term capital appreciation, plus varying levels of dividend income, by investing in fundamentally sound businesses whose shares appear to be selling at attractive prices.

Blend Funds
Designed to have the flexibility to invest in both growth stocks and value stocks, blend funds give investors the opportunity to build wealth over time while seeking to perform well when either growth or value stocks are in favor.

Growth Funds
We offer a wide array of choices in growth funds, ranging from large cap to small cap. Each has unique characteristics, but they all seek companies that are experiencing growth in their revenues, profits or other measures of business improvement.

International Funds
Enhance the diversification of your domestic mutual fund portfolio by adding overseas exposure. Our global and non-U.S. equity funds seek capital appreciation by investing in international markets, both developed and emerging.

Specialty Funds
Consider a specialty fund that focuses on a particular industry, sector or specialized approach to add an element of diversification beyond traditional stocks, bonds, and money markets.

Bond Funds

Taxable Bonds
Taxable bond funds can provide a solid foundation for your investment portfolio through lower levels of volatility compared to riskier investments made in the stock market. Our taxable bond funds offer the primary benefit of total return, as well as secondary benefits like current income, low correlations with stocks or inflation protection.

Tax-Free Bonds
Bonds issued by state and local governments and other entities to raise monies for public works and improvements offer certain tax benefits to investors. Income dividends are free from federal taxes and, in some cases, state and local taxes.

Asset Allocation Funds

Asset Allocation
Asset allocation funds offer investors the advantage of investing in a single portfolio with broad diversification across asset classes, investment styles and market capitalizations. Our two series of actively-managed asset allocation portfolios offer risk-based investing, from very conservative to very aggressive, and tobacco-free investing for retirement, or any long-term goal.

Money Market Funds

Taxable Money Markets
Money market investments are designed to preserve capital when you are investing for shorter-term goals. Our high-quality, taxable money market funds invest in short-term U.S. government securities and corporate money market securities.

Tax-Free Money Markets
Tax-free money market funds provide tax-free income in addition to preserving capital. Our tax-free money market funds invest in high-quality, short-term securities that are exempt from federal and, in some cases, state and local taxes.

Money Market Fund: An investment in the fund is neither insured nor guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other government agency. Although the fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1 per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in the fund.

You should consider the fund's investment objectives, risks, and charges and expenses carefully before you invest. The fund's prospectus or summary prospectus, which can be obtained by calling 1-800-345-2021, contains this and other information about the fund, and should be read carefully before investing. Investments are subject to market risk.
