What You Need

  • Any version of Quicken 2016 or later.
  • Internet Access.
  • Your American Century Investments account number (individual, joint, IRA , or Trust accounts only).
  • Your American Century Investments Personal Access Code (PAC).

View or change your PAC online

  1. Log In with your User Name and Password.
  2. Select the My Profile link.
  3. Select the View or Change PAC link.
    ***OPTIONAL: Change your PAC***
  4. Select the Modify link to change your PAC.
  5. Enter and re-enter the new PAC, then select the Modify Button.
  6. If you need assistance with your PAC, please contact us.

Note: In Quicken, the PAC may be referred to as a Password.

Guidelines for Set Up

Please use the following guidelines when adding your American Century Investments directly-owned mutual fund accounts in Quicken:

  • Select Brokerage or IRA.
  • Select American Century Investments as the financial institution.
  • When Quicken asks for your:
    -Customer ID/Tax ID: Enter your Tax Identification Number (Social Security or Employer Identification number) without dashes.
    -Password: Enter your American Century Investments PAC.

What You Need

  • Any version of Quicken 2016 or later
  • Internet Access
  • Your americancentury.com User Name (used when logging into your brokerage account)
  • The Social Security number (SSN) or Tax Identification number (TIN) associated with your Brokerage account and User Name

Guidelines for Set Up

Please use the following guidelines when using the Quicken Account Setup wizard to add your American Century® Brokerage account:

  • Select American Century Brokerage as the financial institution.
  • When Quicken asks for your:
    -User Name: Enter your americancentury.com User Name.
    -Last 4 digits of SSN: Enter the last four digits of the account owner's SSN or TIN.

Account history downloads are not supported from within the Quicken product. To save manual entry for the account history of your Business Retirement accounts you will need to download a Quicken compatible file from the account history page on the website.

I invested $2,000.00 in a particular fund, but the transaction is being shown as $2,000.01. Why is this?
