Curtis Manning, CFA, is a portfolio manager and senior securitized analyst for American Century Investments®.
Curtis is a member of the Securitized Markets team within the firm's Global Fixed Income group. As a member of this team, he provides research and analysis on securitized markets and contributes to the management of several fixed income strategies. He also co-manages the U.S. Government Bond, U.S. Short-Term Government Bond and U.S. Ginnie Mae strategies. Prior to joining American Century in 2019, he was a senior analyst at Janus Henderson Investors, responsible for the analysis of collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), non-agency mortgage-backed and asset backed securities. Previously, Curtis was a trader at Penserra Securities, where he covered non-agency mortgage-backed securities. He has also held roles as a vice president of structured product sales and trading at Odeon Capital Group and a residential mortgage-backed securities associate at JP Morgan Securities. He has worked in the industry since 2005.
Curtis holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Boston College. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA institute.
