Rick Luchinsky is Senior Vice President, Head of Personal Financial Solutions (PFS) and Workplace Retirement at American Century Investments®.
Mr. Luchinsky oversees the business strategy and execution for American Century’s retail direct business, client operations, and Workplace Retirement business. He is also a member of the firm's Management Committee. He is based in the firm’s Kansas City, Mo office.
Mr. Luchinsky joined American Century Investments in 1996 as vice president of sales in Retirement Plan Services, focusing on business development to corporate defined contribution and defined benefit plans. Over the last 29 years, he has worked in the financial intermediary business as a leader in both Workplace Retirement Sales and National Accounts developing strategic partnerships with retirement and wealth management intermediaries.
Prior to joining American Century, Mr. Luchinsky was regional director of institutional investments at New York Life Asset Management and an assistant vice president with T. Rowe Price Associates.
Mr. Luchinsky holds a bachelor's degree in management from Towson University; a master's in business administration from the University of Baltimore and has completed the Pension Funds and Money Management Program from the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a registered principal and holds Series 7, 63, 24 and 26 licenses.
He serves on the board for the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA), and the Investment Committee for the Kansas Health Foundation.
