Yusuf Anwar, M.D., CFA, is a portfolio manager and senior investment analyst for American Century Investments®.
Yusuf co-manages the U.S. Mid Cap Growth Impact and Health Care Impact Equity strategies. He also provides fundamental research and equity analysis for the U.S. Opportunistic Mid Cap Growth, U.S. Mid Cap Growth Impact and Health Care Impact Equity strategies. Prior to joining American Century in 2021, Yusuf was a Senior Analyst covering therapeutics for Cinctive Capital Management. Prior to that, he held analyst roles covering therapeutics and biotechnology companies for both Moore Capital Management and Point72 Asset Management, L.P. He was also previously a Biotechnology Equity Research Associate for Mizuho Securities USA Inc. He has worked in the industry since 2016.
Yusuf earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from the CUNY Brooklyn College & Macaulay Honors College and a doctoral degree in Medicine from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
