American Century Expands Personal Advisory Offerings
Kansas City, Missouri
American Century Investments® recently expanded its personal advisory offerings to include digital advice and one-to-one sessions with a certified financial planner. The expanded advisory services are in addition to American Century’s exclusive Private Client Group, where members receive financial planning, ongoing advice and underlying investments for one-flat fee.
The expanded offerings allows investors to choose the type of format that works best for them, including a digital investment recommendation, a single session or multiple sessions with a certified financial planner and unlimited access to a financial advisor with the Private Client Group.
“The current market environment makes it hard for clients to make sense of their finances,” said Doug Comer, vice president, head of client development. “The expanded advice options are designed to help clients take control of their financial situation and determine their priorities in a way that works best for them, while better positioning them to reach their financial goals.”
Investors can complete a short form online to receive a digital investment recommendation based on their risk needs at no charge.* They also have the option to book a single session with a certified financial planner to get answers to specific financial questions for $150 or get a financial plan with multiple sessions for $350. Investors do not need to request a digital investment recommendation to qualify for sessions with a certified financial planner. For investors looking for a flat fee, the account minimum to join the Private Client Group is $50,000 and a 0.90%** fee covers both advice and the underlying investments.
